New Laws Regarding DUIs

The Government has introduced a NEW LAW about driving whilst taking DRUGS.

Patients who take certain PRESCRIBED MEDICATION could be possibly have a POSITIVE ROADSIDE TEST, that could mean the POLICE might proceed to PROSECUTION.

PLEASE BE AWARE that as a driver it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to consider if you are FIT TO DRIVE!

ILLEGAL DRUGS: Benzoylecgonine, Cocaine, delta-9-tetrahydrocannibinol (Cannabis), Ketamine, Lysergic Acid (LSD), Diethylamide, Methylamphetamine, MDMA, 6-monoacetylmorphine (heroin).

PRESCRIBED or MEDICINAL DRUGS: Amphetamine, Clonazepam, Diazepam (Valium), Nitrazepam, Lorazepam (Lormetazapam), Methadone, Morphine (Zomorph, Oramorph, Fentanyl, Tramadol, Codeine, DiHydrocodeine, Buprenorphine patches, Oxycodone, Oxynorm, Tapentadol), Oxazepam, Temazepam, Zopliclone, Zoplidem, Zaleplon.

Wycliffe Surgery is a long established practice; our aim is to provide excellent healthcare with our friendly, caring team of health professionals.

Our multidisciplinary team consists of Doctors, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Phlebotomists, Receptionists, Office Staff and a Practice Manager all playing important roles. We work closely with other team members such as Midwives, Health Visitors, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Distric Nurses, Macmillan Nurses, Social Workers and the hospital teams.
